Pain to Passion

Stop feeling sorry for yourself! You lost your job, yes! He/She left you, yes! You can't seem to find anything productive to do, yes! , Life's just too tough, yes!

And hardest of all... yes! It's time to get up and move on because the world is moving with or without you, regardless of your setbacks.

Whatever it is your going through, it's meant to hurt, and hurt bad, tough situations aren't bad because they make us smile, their tough because they hurt, their bad cause they make us want to cry our hearts out, they make us want to feel like just giving up, like shutting the world out.

What's the solution?
Well I may not be able to tell you exactly what you want to hear but i can tell you what isn't the solution,
The solution isn't sitting about and feeling sorry for yourself or going about seeking pity from fake friends and people who hardly care.

You're meant to question yourself, ask yourself, what am I going to do about these pain? What am I going to do about this lack of purpose? This dark cloud over my life., ask yourself this, and every single introspective question you can think of.
I personally feel that to conquer your battles, you should first start by questioning your self, look inward (introspection), cause no one tells the truth more than one's own self.

Now too my own question, you've done all this, you've giving yourself a pep talk and all, now why not take the hurt and pain of what your going through and turn it into a weapon, wield the hurt and the pain of those numerous disappointments, broken hearts, lost jobs and careers, take them all and turn your pain to passion.

It may Sounds easy but its not.

I know many of us have heard this sought of things and believed them to come easy but don't be deceived, there's no easy way out of anything, nothing truly good, as they say ever comes easy.
No matter how you paint it, you can't  just open your eyes, and whatever your going through will vanish, life isn't some movie scene that switches from the present to "5 years later".

And NO, killing yourself is NOT an option.

Turning your pain into passion, is something most people do without knowing it...
Do you remember that moment you got so angry or sad when you failed at something, Let's say a test, and you find out that almost everyone you know aced it? then comes the depressing feelings you get when you hear your friends and enemies alike saying how easy the test was and that only someone so dumb could fail such an easy test.
Do you also remember the anger you felt at that moment? the shame of losing what you knew, you could have done better if only you could have just pushed harder, Do you remember the promise you made to yourself then and there? and how you went home and didn't get a wink till you had studied and pushed yourself till you made sure you aced it?
Now that, ladies and gentlemen is one good example of turning your pain into passion.

Your passion doesn't necessarily have to be anger, a passion is that driving-force that pushes you out of self-pity, depression and whatever sorry state your in, it helps you accomplish anything you set your mind to, it gives your life a meaning and a purpose, passion could be for family, for your friends, your love partners, your work, your talent,  etc. whatever pushes you forward, that's passion.

And I know what some of you are thinking and the answer is NO! Drugs, sex, and other vices cant be your driving-force.

At this point you might say, "I've heard all this talk before and I'm tired", well then brother, sister, lady, gentleman or whoever you are, if you've heard this countless times and you're still waiting for another inspirational push, then sadly your gonna wait long and hard.

And most sincerely, I can tell you that no matter what you see or read anywhere, no one is pain-proof or resistant to tough times, there's no quick way to instant happiness or peace of mind, you'll just have to do it the normal way and take it step by step, which reminds me of the lyrics to the incredible Whitney Houston's song, Step by Step;
And this old road is rough and ruined
So many dangers along the way
So many burdens might fall upon me
So many troubles that I have to face
Oh, but I won't let my spirit fail me
Oh, I won't let my spirit go
Until I get to my destination
I'm gonna take it slowly cause I'm making it mine
Step By Step, Bit by Bit....
So on a general note, let's learn to see the brighter side of every situation, learn to focus on your passion, on why we do what we love in the first place, and like with all things we do for love, we find out that it's passion that drives us into doing them in the first place.
You got together with that person for a reason, and I believe it was for love, so if it doesn't work out then keep living for love,
You started that skill, job, career, and so on for a reason, it could be for money or because its something you're passionate about, whatever it is, if it fails keep on pushing because there are still plenty of options, know that there are plenty of things to do with that brain of yours, there are tons of places your talent or skill can take you, so don't stop now! and stop hurting yourself, stop feeling guilty or depressed, it only gets better.

No matter what, keep living, keep breathing, keep moving, it will hurt, the pain may seem endless but it won't last forever.

Now before i'll go i will like to live you with these quotes;

“You do what you can for as long as you can, and when you finally can’t, you do the next best thing. You back up but you don’t give up.” ―Chuck Yeager

“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” ―Confucius

"Nothing is as important as passion. No matter what you want to do with your life, be passionate."

 -Jon Bon Jovi

"We must act out passion before we can feel it."

-Jean-Paul Sartre
